Introduction
Business & Industry - What We do - WYG International

Sub Sectors

WYG International is the vehicle through which the range of skills and experience of White Young Green Group is made available outside of the UK and Irish home markets. Over the past three years this has represented a major diversification of WYG International from the socio economic areas into development of the physical environment whilst retaining our core focus on poverty reduction and improving quality of life.

This process of diversification, though begun relatively recently, has already achieved some notable successes. Thus, by way of example, in Turkey, we have been managing the rehabilitation of the historic districts of Istanbul, including the improvement of housing conditions through restoration and the establishment of a comprehensive waste management strategy. In separate projects in Syria, we are supporting municipal development, including, public transport strategies and a major solid waste management plan, and assisting the development of economically efficient and sustainable water and wastewater systems.

We are also providing project management services for a major water management project in Algeria and in Georgia we are supplying project management services for the rehabilitation of a 240 kilometres section of the Samtskhe-Javakheti highway in the southern Caucuses. In Poland, WYG Polska has secured a number of contracts in the fields of urban regeneration, transport and waste water treatment.
