WYG International, through its previous holding company, has had a presence in Africa for over twelve years. Initially concentrating on the provision of consultancy services to the extractive industries, in recent years the company’s focus of work has moved into its traditional core business areas of local economic development, poverty reduction, capacity building and training, programme and grant fund management, governance reform and support to civil society.

Working mainly for the donor community, project work currently focuses on the co-ordination and implementation of two large, complex and multi-faceted PMU projects in South Africa, as well as projects in Ethiopia and Kenya.

WYG International is a registered legal entity in RSA, which is seen as a platform for further substantial company involvement in the region in the future.
