WYG - Where We Work

Select Project - 4 of 5

WYG International has had a continuous presence in Russia since 1993. Our work here is very varied extending from working with business, to managing programmes for the control of HIV/AIDs. Our experience in delivering consulting services in Russia’s remote regions probably exceeds that of any other company with western roots.

Our main office in Moscow is supported by a regional office in Ekaterinburg which coordinates work in the Urals and further east.  These are complemented by project offices across the country.

Our clients include many private domestic and international companies, operating principally in the mining and metallurgical sector.  Though today contracts funded by development agencies form the largest part of our work, we anticipate this will change as private sector activity, along with Federal and Regional government funded work, become increasingly important to us.

Moscow is also the centre from which we coordinate work in Central Asia and the Caucasus, allowing us to respond flexibly and efficiently to clients’ needs wherever they are located.  We have been active across this wide region since the early days of transition addressing issues of social and economic development and improving governance, issues which, in the post ‘9/11’ era, are growing in importance.
